Final Product of the eye

I am finally done with this piece. My current artist is Silvie Mahdal. She is an artist who posts her works on Instagram. I learned from her drawings of eyes to make some of the eyelashes over cross each other or kind of stick together. I also watched on her art videos how sharp her pencil is so that the eyelash and eyebrow hairs are precise and skinny.
My master artist is Leonardo da Vinci. I observed his worked titled "The Head of the Virgin" and noticed the shadowing around her eyes and around the nose. I applied the same thing in my piece where you can hopefully see the contouring I did on the far right. Leonardo da Vinci also shaded under the eyebrow so I did the same thing as well.
So one of the hard things about drawing this piece is the fact that the reference photo I have does not show this man's full eye/eyebrow area so I had to guess where I think the eyebrow hairs should be. In the beginning of sketching this it took me a while to shape his eye. I feel that it's very hard to hand draw eyes because they are always different shapes and sizes. Also the lack of detail can really affect the whole piece. Besides that I had fun drawing this and kind of like the final product.
